Sturdy, easy to assemble, fast shipping. I wish my multifunction rack was as sturdy as this weight plate tree. Can’t recommend this enough!Came well packaged, no damage, no loose parts. Four nylons bands and tape holding the box together, very secure. Easy to assemble, and works excellent. As stated in the other review the pegs are chrome. Mine also differs slightly from the picture. Where the "tower" of the tree connects to the base, there is a flat bracket with four holes welded onto the tower which then bolts to the base from the top down. In the picture you see that there is a "horse-shoe" style bracket welded to the tower and fastens onto the base from the side with two bolts. I called Valor and they said they were getting some play with the hore-shoe bracket , so they switched to the other style. Don't know if this is true or not, seems the horse-shoe bracket would supply more side to side stability which is what you want. Either way it's stable, but I wouldnt vigorously rack my plates with disregard for stability. The bar holders work very well, nice and snug. For the $$$ it's a solid value, it looks more expensive than what it is. I posted a pic with it racked with 485lbs.(6-45's, 2-35's, 2-25's, 6-10's, 6-5's, and 2-2.5's).I am very happy with this plate rack! One minor complaint is that when I unpacked the rack, several of the parts had come loose during shipping. The package from the outside looked undamaged but once I opened it up, several part had broke free in shipping and one of the parts was scratched. I am not too worried about it since it will probably get scratched from use anyway. The rack was easy to assemble and is well built and very solid. This rack will also hold full Olympic plates. I noticed that some of the other plate racks would not hold the larger Olympic plates. One other think I noticed is in the picture it shows the bar holders as being chrome. They are not chrome on the one I got. Again, no big deal. For the money, this is a very solid rack! This is a good rack to put professional plates in it. The only flaw is that the middle pegs are almost useless. If you put plates in the upper and lower pegs, it is impossible to put plates in those middle pegs. I was able to put my barbell clamps in the middle peg. If they make the post a bit taller it might be possible to accommodate the middle pegs and use them to put more plates. Still is a good rack and I am happy with it. Good product.Using to hold my 255lb set. Seems to be very sturdy and stable. Wouldn't have any fear loading a lot more weight onto this. Rubber feet were very tight when assembling. Otherwise was a breeze. One peg did have a slight ding in it from the factory, but is only cosmetic. Holds weight just fine. This is by far the best olympic weight tree I’ve ever seen, including in real gyms. It’s compact, looks great, holds York Legacy olympic plates no problem, the chrome is gentle on the plate holes (believe it or not, I have a rogue plate tree with rough posts that rip little chunks off the plates, while this doesn’t do that), it holds two olympic bars, and can support an Olympic landmine. Definitely worth the money.Perfect little weight tree for a home gym. It has a small footprint, holds 500 pounds of plates stably and with room to spare. Also holds my Olympic bar (with room for another). I bought two of these (for different locations) -- one came with a plate arm that was stripped and could not be tightened properly. Valor Fitness immediately sent me a replacement arm. (Amazon also offered to take the entire tree as a return, but that would have involved an inordinate amount of disassembly and re-packaging).The bolts that go into the pegs got stripped or stripped the peg holes during assembly, and the pegs wobble now. They'll still hold weight, but they move a lot. It came with chrome pegs rather than black.Update: Valor Fitness is extremely responsive, and they sent me new pegs as soon as I emailed them about this. I was more careful with the new pegs (don't overtighten), and they're fine now.For the price, this thing is great. Holds two full size olympic bars as well so that's a bonus. I have 350lbs on mine and still have plenty of room, I could see having 500+ lbs on it easy.Great quality very sturdy. Put just over 200lbs on. The only reasons why not giving 5 stars are. One rubber end on leg as a bit deformed. So it's sits funny and inside of bar holder is bare. So it scratches Olympic bar. Could use some kind of rubber coating or sleeve. I put a thick plastic bag inside for now. Otherwise a great buy. Shipping was fast.Very sturdy and well made. Holding 4-45lbs, 2-25lbs, 4-10lbs, 2-5lbs, and 2-2.5lbs with no problem and room to spare for more. Note that bars are chrome, not black as shown but still looks great.Looks good, strong quality and easy to assemble. Looks really well organized in our home gym now. This is the piece we were missing.Sturdy, compact, good quality. Highly recommend it.
